Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and execute the company’s data science strategy.
    • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.
    • Collaborate with senior executives to align data initiatives with business goals.  
  • Data Analysis & Modeling:
    • Oversee the development of predictive and prescriptive models to support decision-making.
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data analysis and reporting.
    • Identify and implement best practices for data management and analytics.
  • Innovation & Research:
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science and technology.
    • Drive innovation by exploring new methodologies and technologies.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements.
    • Present complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven track record of at least 10 years in data science or analytics, with significant experience in a leadership role.
    • Extensive experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in data science tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant machine learning libraries.
    • Strong understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
